Lisbon and Cascais Riviera, Portugal
A VIBRANT METROPOLIS AND BEYOND THAT, THE ENDLESS WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN
Lisbon is a unique and beautiful city with an incredible history that has shaped it into what it is today. It is the westernmost capital city on the European mainland. Beyond that, there are only the endless waters of the Atlantic Ocean. With a little imagination, you can find traces of San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro or Paris. Lisbon has a bit of each of these cities and many more. Indeed, it has the true worldliness and vastness of Portugal's former overseas possessions.
Explore the city of yellow trams, colorful, scratched facades, steep slopes and more. Lisbon has been enchanting visitors with its debauchery for centuries. Soak up the atmosphere of narrow cobbled streets, facades with tiled azulejos and enjoy discovering interesting nooks and crannies.
An incentive tour to Lisbon will introduce you to more than just the neighborhoods of this remarkably diverse city. You'll also savor fine seaside gastronomy, navigate the steep streets in a private tram or take a traditional tuk-tuk ride. To make your trip as enjoyable as possible, we've selected the best roof top restaurants where, in addition to delicious food, you can also enjoy views of the winding rooftops and street bustle of the beating metropolis.

Azulejos is a beautiful decorative art that can be seen all over Portugal and especially in Lisbon. In small and large railway stations, inside churches or on their facades, on the walls of hotels, bars and even toilets. Blue and white buildings or just individual pictures can be found almost everywhere in Portugal. So try making your own Azulejos in a traditional workshop!
Concert in the ruins of the Carmelite Convent
Experience the atmosphere of the Convento do Carmo, of which only the facade and arches remain after the 1755 earthquake.
The Royal Palace of Sintra
As part of this trip, we will be going out of the metropolis. You'll get closer to the Portuguese nature as well as to the culture and character of the country. First, we'll visit the royal palace in the town of Sintra.
At 450 metres above sea level, the Palácio da Pena, an extravagant palace dating to 1840, has a bizarre mix of Gothic, Renaissance, Manueline and Moorish architecture. The palace was built as a love nest for Queen Mary II by her amorous husband Ferdinand of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha family.
Where the land ends and the sea begins
Then we find ourselves at the westernmost point of Europe – Cabo da Roca. Here you can enjoy the azure sea bays.
